The Creative Circle

Welcome to the Creative Circle

Calling all artists and artists-at-heart!

Are you craving more joy and creativity in your life but feeling a bit stuck? Maybe it’s been so long since you last made any art that the blank page now feels intimidating, and life feels too busy to even know where to begin.

That’s where The Creative Circle comes in!

It’s a relaxed, monthly creativity workshop where you gift yourself two hours, just for you and your creative practice. We gather, open the circle with a poem and chat, then dive into a guided art activity that gently gets you out of your head and reconnected to the joy of making.

Every session is different, and as your confidence grows, you’ll begin to see your creativity develop naturally. This is about enjoying the process rather than the outcome. Come exactly as you are, and get ready to make!

What to expect:

How does the Year Flow?

The Creative Circle follows a gentle, seasonal rhythm rather than a fixed syllabus. Activities evolve through the year, responding to the seasons, materials, and creative energy of the group. You'll explore mark making, collage, textile art and journal-making in the quieter winter months; move into botanical and light-based processes such as cyanotype printing in summer; and work with printmaking, stitched paper, upcycled materials and reflective making as we transition into autumn. We also work on an exciting community project. Each session is thoughtfully planned, guided at each step, and designed to be accessible whether you’re returning to creativity or picking it up for the first time.

Who the Creative Circle is For

The Creative Circle is for people who feel a little stuck, disconnected, or overwhelmed and are craving more joy, creativity, and meaning in their lives. Maybe you’ve loved making art in the past but haven’t had the time, confidence, or inspiration to pick it up again. You might be juggling work, family, or life’s endless demands and longing for a space just for you. You’re curious, open to trying new things, and ready to explore your creativity in a supportive, welcoming environment. Most of all, you want to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and enjoy the process of making without pressure or expectation.
